My husband is probably tired of hearing this story over and over but I'm telling it again.

Tuesday night, the trailer across the driveway from us caught fire. The firetrucks were there till 3am. The residents had been on vacation for the past few months. Yesterday we found out the rest of the story. They had a cat door and a few cats. All the local strays decided they liked the trailer and moved in. Somehow, one of the cats turned the stove on and caught the trailer on fire. We don't know how many cats were living in the trailer, but 28 perished in the fire, along with 1 bird. 28 cats! I had no idea there were that many over there! I knew about 3. How could anyone let something like that happen? I basically watched them die without knowing it. Rest in Peace my feline friends.
